New Swedish Server

The Lulea Academic Computer Society (Ludd) at Lulea University of Technology have kindly provided us with a new IRC server. This server is able to handle 8,000 users. You can connect to this server by connecting to ludd.se.quakenet.org.

We welcome Mikael "mrsaint" Krantz and Anders "kex" Nordin to the staff family here at QuakeNet, and wish them all the luck with this new server.

I know a dutch guy who wants to link to QuakeNet too, but he doesn\'t want the traffic over the internet but over a leased line lol. Too bad it\'s hard to get a leased line to the closest hub server (Amsterdam - hub.de.quakenet.org) ;[
