'fishbot' User Results

For the past 6 months or so, QuakeNet has been working with select external agencies to tackle all illegal and suspicious activities taking place on QuakeNet services.

To facilitate this, QuakeNet developed a service called Fishbot. Fishbot is a service which when invited by channel owners into their channels, monitors ALL activity within the channel. The activity is then recorded and later examined by the selected external agencies.

Processing on the first batch of records has recently been completed. We would like to inform the listed users (Q auths) that they will shortly be contacted by the agencies listed by their Q auth name. The list can be found here.

We would like to apologise to our user base for these events, but unfortunately 'external pressures' obliged us to co-operate.
