REQUESTOWNER

Request ownership of a channel.

Usage:

/msg Q REQUESTOWNER <#channel>

Parameters:

• <#channel> - The channel to request ownership of.

Additional info:

In order to use REQUESTOWNER, there must be no owners left on the channel, and you must have the highest access level of the remaining users on the CHANLEV. i.e. if there are masters (+m) known on the channel - only they can use the command. If not - then only opped (+o) users can do it, voiced (+v) or other users can't request ownership.

Requirements:

To use the REQUESTOWNER command there must be no owners (+n) in the CHANLEV list on the channel and you must be the highest known user in the CHANLEV list on the channel.

Examples:

This command will request ownership for the channel #channel:

`/msg Q REQUESTOWNER #channel`
